Justin Bieber has released a cover of Drake‘s Hotline Bling.
The Internet, and modern pop culture along with it, just imploded.
Canada’s Very Own – arguably the world’s biggest pop and R&B stars, come head to head in this lo-fi remix of the song that’s been stuck in the collective population’s head for months now.
As usual, the news first came via Bieber’s social media accounts, including the below Instagram video. He posted an imagine of the now-famous Hotline Bling artwork and shared a phone number with fans to call (this is not the first time this tactic has been used in recent memory). When you call it, you hear the Hotline Bling cover.

This is latest cover of the immortalised-in-memes track, following on from Erykah Badu, Disclosure x Sam Smith and Art of Sleeping, who performed the track for a recent edition of Triple J’s Like A Version.
Earlier this week Justin Bieber also released the complete tracklisting to his upcoming album Purpose, set for release on November 13. He’s also recently walked out of a godawful, cringeworthy interview in Spain and walked off stage at a concert in Norway after fans in the front row were being uncooperative while he tried to wipe up water on stage.
