Continuing in his rapid rise to fame, Vic Mensa is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down lately. From dropping the huge, Kanye West featuring track U Mad with it’s equally massive film clip, to showing up at a Chicago school to perform said song with said collaborator, he is going from strength to strength to strength right now.
Not letting up just yet, and even though U Mad is one of the biggest tracks of this year, Mensa dropped two more new songs over the weekend at a show. Showing a little more versatility in the Chicago rapper, the two tracks couldn’t be more different. The first, No Chill, is a collaboration with none other than Skrillex and is just as much of a monster as you’d expect. We are predicting this particular track to be everywhere in no time at all, and maybe even bypassing U Mad. The other is a slow burner with much more intimate and vulnerable lyrics, titled 3 AM.
Both tracks were filmed by a fan who was lucky enough to be in the crowd. You can check the videos below, and while you’re at it you can check our interview with Vic here.
