Not long after her case was rejected by a LA County D.A., Chloe Goins – who accused Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting her – has taken to the studio to unleash her feelings on a diss track that what could well be the sassiest rap song we’ve heard in recent times.
According to XXL, the D.A. cited “Cosby’s alibi and the statute of limitations” to rule against her, but it seems she isn’t quitting just yet. Teaming up with producer Jammin’ J, Goins has taken on the rap name of “Chlo-Chlo” to unleash some fierce lines about her alleged assaulter. She said of her track, “The criminal justice system has failed me in the pursuit of justice against Bill Cosby. But my spirit can never be broken.”
Not holding back at all, Chlo-Chlo goes in with lyrics like “Hey Bill, bet’cha think you’re pretty slick huh?/Making sure you drugged us thinking that we would forget ya/But we didn’t, now everyone knows/You’ll keep getting protested and booed at ya shows.”
She doesn’t stop there though, ripping him to shreds even further with “It’s a trip, you kept on for all these years/Too bad for you your victims were women with voices to hear/It’s not going away it’s time to face the facts, I can guarantee that you’ll never make a come back.”
It’s not confirmed when the song will be released but it will be sold on iTunes, with a portion of the profits going to an as-yet-unspecified non-profit benefiting sexual assault victims. It’s also reported that Goins has signed with Always A Hit Productions.
In a more unfortunate turn of events, several high-profile personalities have come out in support of Bill Cosby. Both The Game and Waka Flocka have strongly defended him, with Waka Flocka going so far as to say there is a conspiracy against Cosby. Let’s just hope more of his victims’ voices are actually heard and treated with the respect they deserve, not like Goins and her rejected case.
