Kendrick Lamar is being sued $1 Million For Banning a Fan

Kendrick Lamar fans are not usually known for their hysterical antics, but one die-hard has taken it to the next level, suing the rapper for $1 million US after being banned from his concert.

That’s right. One million dollars. Because he couldn’t see a show.

LAUGHING POINTING

According to TMZ, Whitney Larkins paid $350 for an exclusive VIP meet and greet package with the rapper which included backstage at his concert. Ms Larkins then reportedly emailed Lamar’s manager David Free, requesting an extra three minutes alone with the rapper.

According to a lawsuit filed by Larkins, Free emailed back with the information that a one to one encounter with Lamar for three minutes would cost an additional $10,000 upfront payment in cash. Not to be deterred, Larkins requested more details, before allegedly received an email the night before the concert informing her that she had been banned from attending the  and her $350 would be refunded.

Thankfully for Lamar, he hasn’t lost a valuable fan over the debacle, with Ms Larkins referring to Kendrick in the lawsuit as “one of the greatest rappers of all time who is on par with Tupac.” However, she delivered up an epic serve for Free, describing him as “…an arrogant, snotty and all-around bad dude from the hooter to the tooter.”

Lamar and Mr Free are both yet to comment on the situation.

However, they are probably more concerned with Lamar’s 11 recent Grammy nominations for his ground breaking, politically signifigant and socially important To Pimp a Butterfly album as opposed to 3 stolen minutes from a fan.

Lamar will visit Australia in March as a headliner for Bluesfest alongside The National, D’Angelo and more, as well as two headline shows:

Monday, 21st March: Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Wednesday, 23rd March: Allphones Arena, Sydney
Thursday, 24th March: Bluesfest 2016, Byron Bay
