After keeping a low profile for a few days, Troye Sivan has surprised fans with an album announcement at VidCon. Last year, he same event he announced his EP TRXYE in the same way. WILD is the highly-anticipated debut album, which we imagine will include plenty of national and international guests.
Most of you have probably heard of him, but don’t know who exactly Troye Sivan is. As well as a musician, Sivan is one of the most famous YouTube stars from Australia. With over three million subscribers, you know this guy is going to kill the charts once again. His EP was named number one in 66 countries around the world. Seriously, the power he holds is unbelievable.
Sivan writes that his album is the “opening installment, a 6 song keyhole to introduce you guys to all of the music I’ve got coming in 2015.” He also teases a little tune in a video where he talks about his album. The track has a sound similar to that of Pit Passion, and will give you an idea of what Sivan’s been working on for a year. His flawless vocals have also been featured on Zedd’s latest album True Colours in the track Papercut.
