The one and only Boris are returning to Australia once more, this time bringing along a special tenth anniversary edition of their seminal record Pink. The legendary Japanese instrumental metal trio are returning to our shores this May for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.
Boris are without doubt one of the most important instrumental metal bands in history, and have proven themselves influential both in terms of inspiring others with their intense, immersive sounds, explored across a full discography of albums, EPs and live recordings, as well as their many collaborations with groups like Sunn o))), The Cult‘s Ian Astbury and of course Merzbow, among others.
Last here in 2015, this is a rare and amazing opportunity to witness them performing arguably their most beloved, and best, album in full. I have had the pleasure of seeing them live twice and can personally guarantee this will be one of the greatest (and loudest) shows of 2017.
Perth post-metal group Tangles Thoughts of Leaving have been announced as the main support for the tour.
