WATCH: M-Phazes & Alison Wonderland Drop “Messiah” Video

Grammy, Billboard, ARIA and APRA award-winning Australian producer M-Phazes is gearing up to release his highly anticipated debut solo album some time this year. This week he’s released the video for Messiah, featuring, and co-written by Alison Wonderland, first released back in early December.

The video, directed by Jason Bock, was filmed in Los Angeles and stars Dennis Cockrum, with cameos from both M-Phazes and Alison Wonderland.

The track itself is an cool, airy, melodic banger; the coming together of these two diverse and incredibly talented Australian artists is a match made in heaven; in particular it’s nice to hear Wonderland on a low-key track, a little more relaxing than her solo work.

The Melbourne-based producer may be an unknown name to many outside of the Australian industry, but he has produced for everyone from hip-hop legends Eminem, Lupe Fiasco and Logic to local artists including Illy, Allday, Kimbra, Meg Mac, Guy Sebastian and Daniel Johns. In 2015, he took home both Billboard and Grammy Awards for co-producing Bad Guy from Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Check out the video below and get ready for what’s shaping up to be a pretty amazing star-studded solo debut from one of Australia’s best.
