Multi-venue mini-festival VOLUMES is returning to Sydney for a second time, after a successful inaugural event in 2015 took the town by storm. For those who missed it last year, three wonderful event saw a takeover of three central Sydney venues, and featured acts like Jack Ladder & the Dreamlanders, The Laurels and Lower Spectrum. This year will see the event spread out across two days and four venues: Brighton Up Bar, The Burdekin, Cliff Dive and Oxford Art Factory. All venues are within a couple minutes walk from one another, making it extra easy to get from set to set.
It’s a really great opportunity to see some of Australia’s best music from across every genre imaginable. From the cutting edge electronica of Charles Murdoch and Dro Carey to Mossy and Slum Sociable‘s dark electro-pop vibes, to the jazz-hop of Koi Child and producer Godriguez and the indie waves of Darts and Summer Flake, there’s something for everybody. Oh, and the full lineup hasn’t even been announced yet.
