PREMIERE: Forest Hall, “Sunday Everyday”

Today, we’re excited to premiere the new video from Sydney’s own Forest Hall. Sunday Everyday is the project’s debut release, and we’re stoked that we get to share it with you.

Forest Hall was reportedly inspired by “boredom and a love of home delivered pizza. At the helm is Mislav Belobrajdic (Hedge Fund), who wrote, recorded and produced the track in his bedroom on GarageBand.

The hazy, lo-fi Sunday Everyday is a skuzzy, hypnotic anthem for “anyone who doesn’t want to do shit.” The appropriately fuzzy visual accompaniment, directed and produced by Belobrajdic with the help of collaborators Millsy and Quirky, is essentially a montage of everything that makes Sundays the best, namely drinking, eating, running amok in Enmore and Surry Hills and of course, listening to Kiss From A Rose by Seal.

In an age where more and more artists, of every genre imaginable, are working on their own releases from start to end including production and artistic direction, it’s always interesting to see stuff like this – if for no other reason than it’s the complete embodiment of an original idea without even a hint or label, publicity or management input.
