Last month George Maple played a free gig for FBi Radio in Sydney and now the rest of the country will get a chance to see her playing live on a national tour!
Starting off in Brisbane, she will be travelling all about the mainland throughout the end of April and will end her tour in Adelaide at the beginning of May.
BUT that’s not all. To pump us up for the tour, she’s released a new single Where You End And I Begin. It features Philadelphian rapper Grande Marshall, whose strong verse compliments her sensual vocals perfectly.
In reference to the creation of the track, Maple says this:
“I wanted to capture a sense of bittersweet innocence and lust. I felt nostalgic when writing the track, thinking about my first crush, my first kiss. I wanted to channel this mood into the production, the delivery and the general tone of the song. By lucky coincidence, Grande Marshall came by the studio when the track was almost done. He jumped on and wrote a verse and it was then that the song felt complete.”
It’s got a cool R&B vibe and a great beat that will have you dancing the night away. If you liked Talk, Talk and Vacant Space, you’ll love this. It’s such a great follow-up track. Check it out here.
