Sydney radio station, FBi Radio has provided the solution with their series of intimate, free gigs. Presented by Jack Daniel’s, Local Live at FBi is the amazing opportunity to introduce music lovers to new talent.
A whole stack of bands are set to perform at their new stage during February and March.
First up is Tkay Maidza who, after performing at Laneway Festival, isn’t over the hype yet. In her live radio debut on Thursday February 19, her unique sound will definitely please your ears.
Next, say hello to the weekend with Sydney newcomer, George Maple! In her session on Friday February 20, you can expect performances of tracks from her debut EP Vacant Space. She has signed on to Future Classic, so if you like Flume or Chet Faker, it’s worth checking out her sound.
On Wednesday March 4 you’ll see Cloud Control, a two-time ARIA nominated alternative rock band from Sydney. Currently on tour with Angus & Julia Stone, preceded by a huge headline tour of their own, this is certainly not the first time performing they’ve been on FBi. Like many of their contemporaries, it was their FBi airtime that gave them the boost they needed to climb to the next level.
All events begin at 5:30pm.
