Beloved BBC quiz show QI is well known for its celebrity guests and panellists. The majority of these are comedians and actors, but every now and again musicians are brought into the fore. This week, a very special guest joined Sandi Toksvig and her teammates in this wordy quiz show – none other than Corey Taylor of Slipknot.
Slipknot were in Australia just last week for a round of huge arena performances, but their globetrotting world tour also included stops in the UK, during which Taylor took a moment to show the world his prowess as a witty wordsmith. The episode marked Taylor’s first appearance on the show, although he has appeared twice on its complementary podcast, No Such Thing As A Fish.
The episode he has appeared on his titled Nosey Noisy, part of Series N (for those unfamiliar, each season is themed around one letter of the alphabet, meaning it will presumably end once the show reaches Z).
As well as participating in the game, Taylor also used his time on air to talk about his upbringing and to open up further about his recent struggles overcoming alcohol addiction.
