Hip-Hop High Tea Is Returning To Melbourne

When you think about hip-hop, you probably don’t think about a High Tea, complete with tiny muffins and sponge cake. Or perhaps you do, who am I to say? Whatever the case may be, MzRizk has teamed up with Belleville to bring a Hip Hop High Tea back to Melbourne later this month and it sounds bloody fantastic. The event has previously sold out three times, and we have no doubt its 2016 incarnation will follow suit.

On June 25, MzRizk and Belleville will be pairing their favourite aromatic teas and scrumptious snacks with equally delicious hip-hop. What better way to enjoy your herbal tea infusions than with some jazz and soul-infused beats?

The talented MzRizk will be on DJ duties, spinning tunes while attendees sample themed offerings including the Salted Caramel Wu-Tang Flan and the LudaCrispy Chicken Slider with Lil Kim Chi Slaw, courtesy of Public Works head chef Jarrod Moore, and Slash Vala of Belleville. There’s even options for vegetarians and vegans, so nobody misses out.

The Hip Hop High Tea takes place at the Belelville Globe Alley (enter via Little Bourke, next to Swanston) on June 25 from 3 pm- 5 pm.

Tickets are $50 plus booking and can be found right here.
