Tobias Jesso Jr. has made a name for himself for his fantastic live performances, but fans recently got much more than they paid for when he and his band Duk launched into a series of impromptu covers at his show in Washington.
Covering D’Angelo‘s Untitled, Haim‘s Forever, The Weeknd‘s Can’t Feel My Face and Keane‘s Somewhere Only We Know, Jesso Jr really treated the audience to typically Jesso Jr renditions of these huge songs. Before launching into Untitled, Jesso Jr joked, “Do not film this,” but because the internet exists, someone did – and they filmed them all. Tobias Jesso Jr will be coming to Australia next year for St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, alongside the likes of Grimes and Vince Staples. He shot to fame last year with his debut album Goon, and has quickly accumulated thousands and thousands of loyal and adoring fans.
