Kendrick Lamar takes his show literally on the road

If this ain’t the coolest. Kendrick Lamar’s first live show since the release of To Pimp A Butterfly just happened. It wasn’t a packed out stadium gig, rather the whole thing happened AC/DC-style from the back of a flatbed truck driving through the streets of Los Angeles.

The whole event was sponsored by Reebok and featured a guest appearance from Black Hippy buddy Ab-Soul. There are also reports circulating that the LAPD shut the whole thing down after Kendrick paraphrased some choice NWA lyrics, but these remain unconfirmed.

Props to the fans who managed to jog along for the entire show, that’s some endurance.
