Watch: Spookyland Release Video For New Single “Big Head”

Sydney’s Spookyland have released a tantalising new music video for their single Big Head. Fresh off the heels of a slew of SXSW performances, the band have now jumped on tour with Gang Of Youths, which kicked off in Sydney this weekend. They are also getting ready to launch their debut album on the 6th of May, following their incredible Rock And Roll Weakling EP.

In the lead up to the release of said album, Beauty Already Beautiful, the band has released this latest single. It’s a solid affair, with some really nicely played instrumentation. The video is a black and white performance shoot, but it also manages to inspire some thoughts in the audience. Who is the woman in the song? There’s some rich metaphor here, and it’s pretty great songwriting. Frontman Marcus Gordon braves the snowy docks to ponder the song. Watch the video below.

This is the third single released by the band for their album, following God’s Eyes and Bulimic.

Spookyland has also announced a couple of shows in support of their album launch, playing in Sydney and Melbourne with post-punk band Yeevs.
