Paul Simon Wrote The Theme Song For Louis CK’s New Web Series

The first episode of new Louis CK web series Horace and Pete has been released, featuring a theme song written by Paul Simon of Simon and Garfunkel. The series stars CK and Steve Buscemi as the title characters along with Jessica Lange, Kurt Metzger, Nick DiPaolo, and Steven Wright.

The show itself was released yesterday, taking fans by surprise. The show takes place in a bar, which is run by two brothers, Horace and Pete, each of whom have individual struggles, giving the show a dark feel. The episode has a running time of 64 minutes, with a short intermission in the middle. The theme song is said to play during the opening, intermission and closing credits. It’s melancholy sound and lyrics reflect the issues dealt with in the show.

According to Stereogum, the acoustic tune consists of the following lyrics during the credits:

“Hell no/ I can’t complain about my problems/ I’m OK the way things are/ I pull my stool up to the bar/ At Horace And Pete’s/ Sometimes I wonder/ Why do we tear ourselves to pieces?/ I just need some time to think/ Or maybe I just need a drink/ At Horace And Pete’s.”
