Wu-Tang Clan‘s Ghostface Killah has taken to Subreddit /r/hiphopheads to hunt for web, app and video game developers and many other kinds of skilled professionals to work for his company, Wu World Entertainment.
In an ad, which doubled as an AMA, Ghostface explained: “We are looking for highly qualified WIZARDS. We have services rendering from real estate, to products.”
The exact purpose of the roles, or even how many people they are hiring is unclear, but he goes into further detail about who he’s after:
“App Developers Web Developers Video Game Developers Cartoon Animators Comic Book Illustrators Web and App Coders Fashion Designers Brand Ambassadors Marketing Analysis Real Estate Brokers/Agents Computer Engineering Financial Advisers
I REPEAT, I’M LOOKING FOR ALL MY WU WIZARDS -DINI”
“We promote from within,” the ad promises. “Full & Part time, Fun, Flexible hours, start immediately. Weekends are a must.”
It looks like they’re planning to consider just about anybody – one Reddit user asked if a marketing position was available as well as development roles, to which Ghostface simply replied to send him an email.
If you’d like to apply and are 18 or older, shoot off an email to wuworldent@gmail.com.
Ghostface also took the moment to promote his Christmas Sweater:
Go forth and apply, Wizards.

It’s sad to think that the biggest piece of Wu-Tang Clan news in recent memory is the ridiculous shit-storm that was that whole Martin Shkreli debacle. With the lone copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin in his seedy little hands, there was understandable concern among fans of the Wu that we wouldn’t be hearing much from the Clan for quite a while. Today though, we can breathe easy, with Ghostface Killah announcing that the next reunion is in his hands.
In an interview with HipHopDx, Ghostface stated “RZA put the ball in my hand. He said ‘Yo, I want you to do it’, and I been wanting to do it, and that’s a big test for me right there.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfa_IT_LUYE
In the same interview he also addressed the direction he hopes that album to take, continuing “you got to always go back to the foundation … It’s not what you do it’s how you do it. But it has to be done right. If it don’t fit then we can’t do it. It’ll just have to be done nice. That’s it. People can’t talk about it unless it’s good.”
As for features? At the moment it looks like it’ll be kept largely in the family. – “I mean when we do this, we don’t got to bring nobody in. Unless there’s somebody that’s already out with a strong name or a good voice that would be good. I learned to not be selfish. People know us. We got 10 people in the goddamn group.”
Wu-Tang’s last reunion in 2014, A Better Tomorrow, produced by RZA, got some really mixed reviews, and didn’t really feel like everything it could’ve been. While there’s no doubt RZA does amazing work, he’s leaving the next album in some of hip-hop’s most capable hands in those of Ghostface. Twelve Reasons to Die I & II, and Sour Soul, a collaborative album with BadBadNotGood, are all some of his best work to date and came in the space of two years. Ghostface has shown that even well into his 40s, he’s still one of hip hop’s best, and we can’t wait to see where he takes the Clan next.

Language is ever growing. From the earliest days of man, the way that people communicate has evolved in such intricate and complex ways that people have dedicated their entire lives to studying it. In the world today, there are roughly 6,500 spoken languages being practiced. With the invention of the written word, these languages were able to be shared more easily, and even more so with the printing press, and the internet after that. The internet in itself has spawned countless words that cross all language barriers. LOL, OMG, ROFL. All of these are understood by almost everyone in the world with access to the internet. Some of these words are now able to connote something more than simply a reaction, like that of a feeling or an experience. One of these, that should need no explanation, is 420.
Marijuana, has always had a relationship with music of all genres, particularly hip-hop. Rappers talk about weed all the time, smoke it in their video clips, and some even now have their own weed-related products on the market. On December 10th 2012, the private consumption of marijuana was made legal in Colorado, America’s 38th state. Weed culture has been booming there over the last three and a bit years, and this year, on the most holy of weed days, April 20th (04/20), there’s going to be a hell of a lot of hip-hop happening there too.

Denver’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom, Gothic Theatre, Herman’s Hideaway and many, many more will set the stage for a 420 that Colorado will no doubt ever forget. Kevin Gates, Future, Snoop Dogg, Tory Lanez, Flosstradamus, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Redman, Method Man, Afroman and tonnes more will be converging on the state to play gigs and, we assume, smoke a fuckload of weed. This is a night that smokers and non-smokers will simultaneously feel a huge amount of FOMO over, and we cannot wait to see what sort of fried antics get recorded and reported about.

Surprise surprise, Martin Shkreli just won’t quit.
You know there’s something wrong with a dude when they brag about getting their very own pen at a federal court hearing, like it makes them “the king.” Not to mention leading a pharmaceutical debacle that brought him to said holding pen, involving inflating the prices of much needed medical treatments for cancer and AIDS – past the point of what even the most sociopathic greed magnate would consider decent.
And that is just the beginning of the litany of failings that brought “pharma bro” Martin Shkreli to the world’s attention. Few people in the history of the world have managed to attain such a status of universal disgust; even Donald Trump is down on Shkreli, labelling him a “spoiled brat” and a “disgrace,” though that might just be because Shkreli is a very real threat to Trump’s current position of most awful man in America.
Not content with wreaking havoc amongst the pharmaceutical industry, Shkreli has also graced the world of music with his unfortunate presence. Observing his antics over the last few months is something like watching the rise of a cartoon supervillain. And in a particularly dastardly act, Shkreli was smirkingly revealed to be the mystery “private American collector” who won the recent auction to purchase Wu-Tang Clan’s single copy of Once Upon A Time In Shaolin.
Unsurprisingly, Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah wasn’t too pleased about this. Calling Shkreli a “shithead” and engaging in heated exchange of insults via twitter and trash talk videos. Now, Shkreli has comeback with his own recording, sneering at Ghostface from the comfort of what looks like his own bedroom, and backed by three masked goons. Obtained by TMZ, it makes for entertaining and slightly scary watching.
Ghost mad that Shaolin outsold his last 5 albums… dude’s a non-profit rapper. Calls himself ironman, but sounds rusty AF @GhostfaceKillah
— Martin Shkreli (@MartinShkreli) January 22, 2016
In a tirade that should really land him in the psychiatrist’s office, a pale, suit clad Shkreli throws, what I’m sure he imagines to be, slick and suave insults. Barely making the camera frame, he asserts that “most people don’t try to beef with me.” The federal court case against him, plus the string of complaints and law suits behind that, must have slipped his mind. Though sticking to formalities for once by calling Ghostface by his “government name,” Dennis, Shkreli really lays it on thick.
Cradling a glass of wine in a similar pose to his favourite pseudo-elitist wrestler Damien Sandow, he expresses his pity for Ghostface. Calling him an “old man” who is “trying to reclaim the spotlight from [his] spotlight.” It doesn’t quite explain why Shkreli felt the need to drop $2 million on the much sought after Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, but I’m sure there’s logic to his reasoning.
Adding insult to injury, Shkreli winds up by demanding a written apology from Ghostface; 500 words and no grammatical errors. Oh, and with some genuine contrition please. As if we ain’t had quite enough of Shkreli’s deluded attention seeking, the impression of the school loser having his revenge upon the world from this skinny is so palpable from the League Of Legends player. In a desperate bid to be cool, this final pathetic request just proves that some people really never get over high school.
Watch the video below.
Human waste receptacle Martin Shkreli has come under fire again. The man who personally raised the price of Aids medication Daraprim has now earned the ire of none other than Wu-Tang alumni Ghostface Killah.
While Ghostface was not at all pleased that Wu-Tang’s one-of-a-kind album Once Upon A Time In Shaolin has fallen into the hands of Shkreli, in an interview with TMZ, rapper called Shkreli a ‘shithead’ and tells him to release the album for the greater good of Wu-Tang fans everywhere.
He also makes comment on Shkreli’s highly controversial aids medication price-gouging. “You don’t take an AIDS pill that you had for seven dollars, and then make it like 800 dollars. You don’t do that like that, I don’t care if you bought the Wu-Tang [album].”
“I don’t know him like that, but when I heard what he did with the AIDS [drug] like that, that’s not right,” said the rapper.
Shkreli replies about a day later to Ghostface on twitter, calling him a ‘non-profit rapper’.

Big mistake Shkreli.
Now, TMZ once again has tracked down Ghostface, who proceeded to lay into (verbally) Shkreli’s Michael Jackson-like features and extremely punchable face. He then mysteriously threatened Shkreli with: “I’ll break your heart in four days.”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT_3o4-9WPw&w=560&h=315]
Shkreli is currently under federal investigation for securities fraud and became one of the world’s most hated men after he raised the essential Aids/cancer medication Daraprim from $13.50 a pill to $750.
Paddle8, the online auction house responsible for the sale, announced that the album had been sold to “an American buyer for an undisclosed figure in the millions.”
When it came out that Shkreli had bought the Wu-Tang Clan’s 31-track double album, people were understandably upset.
RZA told Bloomberg that, “The sale of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin was agreed upon in May, well before Martin Skhreli’s [sic] business practices came to light. We decided to give a significant portion of the proceeds to charity.”
Ghostface was similarly disappointed, saying that the sale was “out of my hands”, and that “the people” should own it.

Omarion has released a smooth new track which features Wu Tang Clan legend Ghostface Killah.
The song I Aint Even Done premiered on Beats 1 a few days ago, when Omarion showed up as a special guest on the Soulection’s radio segment for a chat and to spin his new music.
The track is a woozy trip that moves away from his previous club-based song I’m Sayin, which featured Rich Homie Quan. A looped flute floats around as the crunchy percussion bounces beneath Omarion’s buttery vocals. Ghostface then turns it way up, raging, “You’d better knock a n*gga out tonight, ‘cos if not, I’ma take flight. I paid the cable, n*gga you’d better pay the lights.”
One of Staten Island’s finest delivering on yet another collaboration, with Ghostface Killah previously teaming up with Canada’s instrumental group BadBadNotGood for last year’s impressive Sour Soul.
Listen to the track below:

Last year proved to be a big year for the 30-year-old Omarion, as his collaboration with Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko yielded his first number one single with Post To Be.
The Californian local previously fronted R&B group B2K before they disbanded in 2004. Since then, he has since gone on to pursue a successful solo career, including a 2005 Grammy nomination for his debut solo album O, and working with acclaimed producers such as Timbaland and the Neptunes.
With the release of I Ain’t Even Done, Omarion looks set to start off where he ended in 2015 as he looks to make an even bigger impression in 2016.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve got some good news. Ghostface Killah has just provided an update about DOOMSTARKS, his long-awaited, long-rumoured, so-highly-anticipated-it’s-almost-Chinese-Democracy-level-ridiculous impending joint album with MF DOOM, may be coming out in February 2016.
In a new interview with Let’s Link Radio, Ghostface hinted at a number of releases he’s currently working on, that will hopefully see the light of day in 2016. These include a “monster” follow-up to his epic 2000 solo album Supreme Clientele, as well as “Wu-Goo“, a line of flavoured THC “Vape Cartridges”. But the most exciting news was his update on DOOMSTARKS, which has been more than a decade in the making.
“We gonna be releasing every month,” said Ghost of his 2016 output. “I talked to Doom’s people,” he continues. “Doom is ready now… He said he wants to drop that in February.”
Considering the pair have actually collaborated a bit recently, it’s not as unlikely as it seems. Most recently, they appeared as DOOMSTARKS on new track Lively Hood, as part of the Adult Swim Singles Series, alongside new music from Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus and more.
https://soundcloud.com/adultswimsingles/doomstarks/
Earlier in 2015, DOOM also featured on Ray Gun, a track from Sour Soul, Ghostface’s collaborative album with Badbadnotgood.
It’s a small hint, but a promising one. Kind of, anyway. At this point we will gladly take any and all DOOMSTARKS rumours on board, in the (possibly vain) hope that one day, one of them will be true.
Remember that one beef between Action Bronson and Wu-Tang Clan‘s Ghostface Killah? You know, the one where Action Bronson dissed Ghostface on national television, and Ghostface retaliated by saying he would gut Bronson like a pig? It’s been a minute, so you’d be forgiven for forgetting. But never fear, now you can relive it over and over again- as it’s been immortalised into a video game.
An online developer called Swamp Penguins created the game which pits the two against each other in a Nintendo-esque, arcade platform. If their name sounds familiar, it’s because they’re the same team that are responsible for the Drake vs Meek Mill game back in August. In this game, you play as Bronson, who is being chased by Ghost’s head. You also need to dodge literal ghosts, while collecting ‘points’ in the form of the Twitter logo. It’s also soundtracked by an 8-bit version of Bronson’s acclaimed single, Actin’ Crazy.
“The wonderful adventures of BronBron and the 36 chambers,” the game description reads, “Ghosts and ghouls and drugs and rap. Is the Wu Tang Clan something to fuck with? Will Mr.Fabulous escape the clutches of the evil face that also happens to be a ghost? How hard will ghostface grab his nuts? What about the wu tang affiliates? Will killah beez come for dem kneez? Find out next time on whats beef.”
You can play the game here, and ultimately try to escape Ghostface Killah yourself.

Ghostface Killah and DOOM have teamed up to form DOOMSTARKS (named in keeping with the Stones Throw Record label’s naming combinations for joint collaborations) for Lively Hood, a new track produced by DOOM and released as part of the Adult Swim Singles program.
[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/223223979″ params=”auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”450″ iframe=”true” /]
Listen to it above and grab a free download of it here. Soon, it’ll also be available on 7″ via DOOM’s new Gas Drawls site (in conjunction with Metalface/Nature Sounds).
Almost ten years ago the two teamed up and were supposed to release a collaborative album which never happened, but apparently it is finally set to drop this year, and now we’ve got a song released under their pseudonym DOOMSTARKS. Doom had also been previously featured on Ray Gun from Ghostface’s album with BADBADNOTGOOD, Sour Soul.
Lively Hood is full of Ghostface’s gritty raps and DOOM’s signature production and unique flow, and is complete with laser sounds, horns, and explosions as you would expect from a DOOM track. The track comes off as a hard, one verse each, straight to the point rap, with just enough time in the barely two minute track for a quick hook. It is definitely one of the hardest NY tracks recently put on wax and makes Jay-Z’s New York tributes sound like he grew up in a safeguarded gated community.
The duo are set to perform together at III Points Festival, which takes place October 9th to 11th in Miami. But this won’t be a typical performance: DOOM will appear on a live screen “from the other side of time.” He’ll be “transported Star Trek-style directly onto the III Points Festival stage,” according to a festival press release. The press release also says they will be debuting music from the upcoming DOOMSTARKS album.
Released as part of Adult Swim’s series of 19 tracks over the past few weeks, Lively Hood is certainly standing out as one of the best. Other released songs have spanned multiple genres and artists, including Skrillex, Sia and Danny Brown. With only four more singles remaining to be released, the forthcoming tracks will have to be harder than steel and iron to be any better than the DOOMSTARKS offering. Unlikely.
Food loving rapper Action Bronson has both been praised and criticised for his apparent lyrical likeliness to Wu-Tang rapper Ghostface Killah. Having stated many times in the past that Ghostface is his favourite rapper and a major influence, the fine line between being inspired by, and copying someone’s tone and flow, is apparently easy to cross. The comparison goes so far that Ghostface actually once mistook a Bronson verse for his own: “I thought he was me one day… I said when the fuck I did that verse?” he told VladTV.
Sure, they’re fans of one another – but nobody likes a copycat.
In a new video posted by Ghostface himself, it’s clear that the straw has well and truly broken the camel’s back. We believe it’s probably in retaliation to Bronson’s recent comments at ESPN – when an interviewer joked that when he first heard his latest album Mr Wonderful he thought that Ghostface had new material out, Bronson replied saying that “He’s not rapping like this any more.” Shots fired!
Saying that it’s been a long time coming, the rapper relentlessly slams Action Bronson for using his name and sounding like him.
The six minute video calls him out. “I gave you a grace period,” he says. “First of all, you fat fuck, who gives you the right to even mention my name?”
Here’s some other choice quotes:
“You could never fuck with my pen – my sword, my blade. I’m too nasty for you.”
“Your fans, those are my fans… I’m not making this a black and white thing, I’m making this a Ghost, Action Bronson thing.”
“Just keep my name out your fucking mouth – this fat funky-ass n***a’s a fraud.”
“Don’t let me hang you from a rope and gut you like a pig, and leave you out to dry.”
Watch the whole thing here. Let’s be honest – much as I love AB, Tony Starks has got a point.
Action Bronson has since taken to Twitter to apologise. I wonder if his future releases will have an actively different sound or style now?
