In what is being called the most FOMO tour of all time, A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator have just released a promotional video for their upcoming ‘Rocky and Tyler’ US tour which also features Danny Brown and Vince Staples.

Tyler and Rocky legit seem like good friends or brothers or something, and it’s hard to imagine the crazy chemistry that they’d have on stage. They freestyle and fool around all in some really hyper coloured visuals that would suit either of the artists’ video clips, and give all the details on where to get tickets, as well as mention of some special guests.
Tyler just got banned from Australia as well as the UK, which is mega upsetting – particularly considering the fact that the ban was reportedly instigating by a series of song lyrics, penned years ago. So, realistically even if everyone were to ask really nicely and show a lot of interest, the ‘Rocky and Tyler’ tour probably wouldn’t make it down under, but goddamn this looks good. Detroit mega-rapper Danny Brown and mega-producer Clams Casino (think A$AP Rocky, Lil B, Mac Miller and way more), have finally come together on a track, and it’s crazy interesting. As the 9th instalment of the 2015 Adult Swim Singles series – which has thus far included new tracks from artists like Yung Lean and Peaches – it’s free to download too (scream).
Worth It is Danny Brown’s exploration of fame and celebrity. His fast and piercing vocals run laps around Clams’ spacey instrumental, and though on first listen it doesn’t really sound like it matches up, it really finds a groove. The juxtaposition of Brown’s vocals and Clam’s production also backs up the meaning in Brown’s words. He questions his career path; “Is it really worth it? / For fast cards and ice / Do you wanna live that life? / Is it really worth it? / New girls every night / Do you wanna live that life?” and takes aim at the careers of his peers, “Smoke ‘til I get a head rush / Lookin’ at you rappers like breakfast/ No apologies for what Imma do to ya / Imma take that game like I’m a sore loser.”

With 7 tracks still yet to be released via Adult Swim, there are big shoes to fill after this one. Danny Brown and Clams Casino is an amazing collaboration – and hopefully it means future collabs between the two of them, and more individual work as well (Instrumentals vol. 4 please Clams).

Seriously, aren’t we passed this yet? Why the hell are people still throwing drinks at anyone, let alone someone performing?
Danny Brown is the latest artist to fall victim to this disgraceful display at a show in Glasgow, and rightfully stormed off mid set. In town for the Red Bull Music Academy Tour, it would have undoubtedly been a typically rowdy show for the rapper, however it only took one plastic bottle of water to cut things short. Throwing the mike down and leaving the stage, Brown refused to return even after the crowd continually chanted his name. Another prime example of some dickhead ruining it for everyone else, the show did not go on that evening. Danny has also reportedly sworn off ever returning to the city. Check the live footage below:
Of course, rowdy and aggressive music will bring out a rowdy and aggressive crowd, but isn’t there some sort of innate knowledge in all of us that it’s not okay to throw shit at people? I hope that guy pulls his head in, and stops ruining things for others due to plain stupidity.
Here’s hoping Danny Brown sees the greater good in the Glasgow people, and gives them a second chance one day. No one should miss out on a Danny Brown live show. NO ONE.

A really gorgeous track from former-Snakadaktal man Sean Heathcliff. Sentimental and deliberate, the rhythm slowly builds and drops and changes behind the melody, really captivating you through each moment. - Crepes, Ain’t Horrible
The Melbourne act have released a new single that lies somewhere between lo-fi fuzz and summery bliss. Delayed beats and understated vocals, there’s a lot more than meets the eye to this one. - EMRSN, About Love
I can’t get enough of this sound! An absolutely gorgeous future soul track, EMRSN has found the absolute perfect balance between delicately glitch electronic beats, and velvety rich, sensual vocals. - Sizarr, Baggage Man
The swinging rhythm, the melodic bass and the swift rhythm lead the way on this one, while the vocals are warm, husky and seductive. I don’t like the bridge that much, but the rest of the track more than makes up for it. - Spirit Faces, Cloudplay ft. Buoy
This is an utterly strange, utterly beautiful tune. Angelic melodies and lullaby xylophones, grungey guitar crunches and a whole myriad intermittent synth layers makes for something wholly unique. - TOKiMONSTA + Iza, Pinching
A heavenly lilt with perfect harmonies really lead the fairly simple synth and beat layers. There’s a lot of cute little additions throughout, and all in all it’s another track where you gotta look a little closer to find the magic! - Marian Hill, Lips
This is a funky electro-pop track with cheeky vocals and a rhythm that starts simple, but slowly builds into something really catchy. I really like the thinness of Hill’s voice – it’s not often that you find something so fine, yet so strong. - Lil Herb & Earl Sweatshirt, Knucklehead
I love rap collabs where they just trade gritty verses, and this is exactly that. The basic loops leave loads of room for those raspy raps. Both rappers have seriously wicked tongues and they flow so fluidly together. - Danny Brown & Action Bronson, Bad News
This one’s off the EPIC upcoming GTA V soundtrack. It’s an interesting collaboration, but it works. They really feed off one another, surrounded by eerie loops, evil lyrics and clanky beats. It’s dark and demented, so obviously I like it.

Wu-Tang Clan, Ruckus in B Minor
Yep, I’ve got a new Wu-Tang song for ya – and what a stunner it is. Produced by the musical Gandalf that is Rick Rubin, it features on their highly anticipated 20th anniversary album A Better Tomorrow, due out December 2. This is one hell of a classic Wu track where each member has a verse – and they’re slick as fuck. Not even going to spend more time describing it, just listen here.

Earl Sweatshirt, 45
At just over a minute long, I’m guessing that this is only the first part of a longer track, but it’s sick nonetheless. Raw and minimal, Sweatshirt’s signature voice over a basic beat and deep horns. Really digging this, and hopefully it means that we’ll soon be hearing more from Sweatshirt – possibly a follow-up to last year’s brilliant album Doris, eh??
Phantogram, Black Out Days remix ft. Danny Brown & Leo Justi
Phantogram hooked up with Brazil’s Leo Justi to remix their latest track Black Out Days, with an extra special MINUTE LONG verse from Danny Brown. Brown’s been collaborating with an unusually diverse group of artists lately, from Purity Ring and Vampire Weekend to Charli XCX. A manic remix that’s equally cool and club-ready, Brown’s unique lilt adds so much to this awesome tune.
As an added bonus, here is a Wu-Tang Flan.
