Face The Music Unveils First Round of 2016 Speakers

Promising some interesting new changes, 2016’s Face The Music summit will be kicking off Melbourne Music Week this November. Playing host to an innovative and forward-thinking discussion on all things music, the summit will be bringing to together an impressive array of critics, artists, and industry heads.

Heading up a 12-strong list of initial speakers announced is Anthony Fantano, the Internet’s foremost music guru and founder of The Needle Drop. Joining Fantano is iconic Go-Betweens’ co-founder Robert Forster, hot off the heels of a soon to be released memoir Grant and I. Industry luminaries sharing their insights will include triple j’s Zan Rowe, Vice Australia’s Ricki Askin and Bandcamp Weekly‘s Andrew Jervis.

The summit will also be throwing some live music into the mix too,  hinting that some new and old musical talents will be sharing the stage with its speakers.

Tickets are available here. Catch the full lineup announcement below.
