Seth Troxler Raises Nearly $100k For Charity With Mt Kilimanjaro Climb

Seth Troxler has inspired us all with his recent act of charity.

The producer has climbed to the top of Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro as part of a group of ten, who set out with the objective to raise $100 000 each to create a total of $1 million. All of the money raised from this ambitious act is to go to Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s Million$Mission, a charity that accumulates funding for brain cancer research.

Posting the picture below on Facebook of the group successfully making it to the top, he wrote “wow we made it to the top – this has been the best july for me yet. the buzz of this is incredible, life changing. To do it for brain cancer is even more rewarding”.

Troxler is obviously passionate about this cause, because that’s not the only thing he has done to help. To add more funds, he is auctioning off a number of his own vinyl records.

“You’re bidding on around two dozen of Seth Troxler’s favourite vinyl records from his personal collection,” the description reads. “Seth will personally pick out a selection of records, from a variety of genres at the end of the month for the winning bidder.”

This auction ends in only a few hours, so get in quick!

The trek began on the 21st, with a group consisting of Troxler and neurosurgeon Dr. Charlie Teo, among other inspiring people who wish to make a difference.

Although the climb is over, there is still time to keep the donations pouring in. According to Stoney Roads, Troxler alone only has about to raise another $3000 to reach $100 000. You have 35 days to contribute to this amazing cause, which can be done via their website.
