George Maple Announces Headline National Tour

Australian-born, LA-based multi-talented George Maple has recently played a number of festival stints including Coachella and Groovin The Moo and it looks like she isn’t slowing down anytime soon, because we’ve got word that she’s coming back home for an Australian tour next month.

The news from the Future Classic artist comes following the release of her immensely successful single Sticks and Horses in April. The song, co-produced between Maple, Noah Breakfast, WILLIS and What So Not (who she also collaborated on the utterly mammoth track Gemini with) explores the themes of power, sex, money and greed. Having been road tested in a strip club, the track is fuelled by a particularly carnal grit. The video accompanying it turns those themes up all the way and is sure to already be hitting shortlists for one of the best clips this year.

Known equally for her impressive song-writing credits (including Hayden James, Snakehips, Flight Facilities, Flume and Tkay Maidza) and her commanding R&B and electro peppered performance, the uniquely captivating Ms Maple with be hitting up a number of venues with a full band in tow. Set to be her biggest national tour to date, Maple is promising a show bold enough to match her impressive vocal prowess. Speaking on her plans for the tour, Maple said “I hope to bring the audience into my twisted universe.” Judging by her recent output and performances, she’ll being doing just that…
