Australian musical legends The Cat Empire returned to Sydney’s The Enmore for a sold out show on Saturday, May 21st. Performing to a huge crowd, the band were supported by Melbourne newcomers The Pierce Brothers for a night of jazz-infused reggae blended with funk and more, all wrapped up in good vibes and even better dancing. Bongos, trumpets and more filled out their world-music tinged performance, one of three sold out shows at the iconic Sydney venue. Giving the adoring crowd a fresh take on their latest album, The Cat Empire showed everyone that even though they’ve got 15 years behind them, they’re still a force to be reckoned with on and off the stage.
