In a short but sweet Q&A which started off about basketball, but quickly turned to music, Top Dawg Entertainment founder Anthony Tiffith unleashed some much needed secrets regarding the label’s many upcoming projects. Home to Black Hippy members Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, as well as SZA, Isaiah Rashad and the newly signed Lance Skiiiwalker, you can imagine how juicy some of these answers were.
The major announcement was casually made when a fan asked if the next Isaiah Rashad album was finished, Top Dawg’s reply?
yep….mixing https://t.co/as58Ys0k6d

This project will be the follow up to his extremely successful 2014 release Civilia Demo, which featured collaborations with many label mates including SZA, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock. In the lead up to this heavy-anticipated release, check out Nelly and Smile, the two tracks Rashad has released which we assume will make an appearance.
Of course the good news doesn’t stop there. Tiffith also announced that both Schoolboy Q and SZA’s albums are coming soon. When a fan asked if Q’s album was dropping before summer, Tiffith answered:
hell yeah https://t.co/ln22emNbzC

If this is true, it means it is imminent, considering the US summer begins around June 21. He also said that it’ll be better than his 2014 release Oxymoron; damn.
Unsurprisingly, we didn’t get any news on Kendrick, with Tiffith simply repling, “who is kendrick?” to one cheeky question about him. This isn’t exactly bad or unexpected, considering untitled unmastered is still fresh, and of course, To Pimp A Butterfly only came out last year.
All in all though it looks as if we’re about to get bombarded with some next level TDE releases, and I’m not going to lie, I’m getting all jittery just thinking about it.
its ova… i will holla at y'all in a few days with something….its all love… albums coming soon…#TDE
