Flume Announces Biggest Australian Tour Yet

This year is already going pretty damn quickly, but now with the announcement of Flume‘s biggest tour yet at the pointy end of 2016, the end of the year cannot come soon enough.

That’s right, after subtly teasing something on Instagram yesterday, Australia’s darling son of electronic music has announced a monstrous world tour – and we’re on the map! Hitting arena sized venues across the country, we definitely haven’t seen him like this before. Kicking off in Perth before heading to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and finally Adelaide, we are already bracing ourselves for what is sure to be an absolutely killer show.

Also set to headline Splendour In The Grass this July, Flume has announced festival dates across the world as well. He was once appearing on just about every single lineup to exist for a good 2 years or so, but after a long break preparing his new album, Skin, it’s safe to say we definitely missed him. He brought the heat at Laneway earlier this year, and having made the critical choice of seeing him over Purity Ring, I can attest to just how much he’s grown as a performer – as well as how good his new songs sound live! Secondary to this, he’s also tapped Vince Staples (who features on Flume’s song, Smoke & Retribution) and SOPHIE to join him on his national jaunt, just in case this wasn’t enough already. Check out this live tour video if you aren’t convinced:
