Drake Beats Out Adele For Most UK Streams

In case it wasn’t already clear as crystal, Drake is on fire. From making Billboard history with Summer Sixteen and Work, to being nominated for TIME Person of the Year, The 6 God has been having a pretty stellar time of it lately. What’s another broken streaming record?

Quite a big deal actually. Drizzy’s latest single One Dance has now broken Adele‘s previously set record of most streams in a week, in the UK. Drake’s track reportedly had 7.86 million streams in the UK this week, which beat the 7.32 million Adele’s Hello racked up in it’s first week of release.

The track has just entered its fourth week at the number 1 spot on the Official Singles Charts, and it looks like it’s staying strong.

Drake’s latest album, VIEWS, dropped last week, and oh boy it is good. Drizzy had a little post-drop chat with the legendary Zane Lowe, where he talked about the album, various collaborators such as KanyeFuture and Rihanna, and his hometown.

Drake also recently announced a national (that is, North American) tour with longtime collaborator Future, to begin in late July.
