Come Together Adds Manu Crook$ To Lineup

Australian hip-hop festival Come Together is now only a month away, and is set to feature performances from some of the country’s foremost names, including Drapht, Tuka, Spit Syndicate and Dylan Joel. Now, the festival have announced that Triple J Unearthed comp winner Manu Crook$ has been added to the bill to open the festival.

The event takes place on June 11 at The Big Top, Luna Park. Now in its eleventh year running, it takes place in 2016 as part of the wonderful Vivid Music program during Vivid Sydney, undoubtedly one of, if not the most exciting event on the annual Sydney cultural calendar.

Manu Crook$ is part of a really exciting new generation of Australian rappers who are taking a wide variety of styles and sounds from across the globe, and giving them a local touch. Taking his cues from artists like Young Thug and Future, his productions are deep and dark, while his auto-tunes hooks and super slick verses are exactly what Come Together needs to pump up the crowd early on.

The all ages event opens at 1 pm with free rides throughout the park, while the Big Top opens at 5pm.

Tickets are still available from $55 – grab them here or here.
