El-P, Despot, Holy Ghost & More Just Opened A Jewish Deli In Brooklyn

It’s no surprise when musicians branch out into other ventures, be that clothing brands and activewear, television, barbershops and more. Now, a whole bunch of people including Alex Frankel of Holy Ghost, rapper Despot and Run The Jewels’ El-P have opened up an upmarket Jewish deli in Brooklyn, called Frankel’s Delicatessen & Appetising.

At the helm of the Frankel’s operation is Frankel and his brother Zach. It’s part owned by El-P and Despot, among others. It looks incredible.

My brother and I, along with Chef Ashley Berman and a whole bunch of friends, are opening a Jewish delicatessen and appetizing shop in Brooklyn tomorrow. It’s a dream come true and we’re very excited to share our food with the community here. The official launch took place today, and a whole lot of people showed up to sample the bagels, the matzo ball soup, the smoked fish and more.

I’m opening a Jewish deli with some of my friends tomorrow. You may be familiar with some of them. It’s called frankel’s. I haven’t said much about it. Now I am. It’s at 631 Manhattan Ave in greenpoint. The food is jewlicious. Come hang out with me there tomorrow and forever. This is not an April fools joke. I forgot that was today. Sinkane with Frankel

Congrats to my homie, label mate and birthday twin @Alexholyghost and his brother Zach on opening the fantastic Frankel’s Delicatessen. #frankels is located in #Greenpoint, #Brooklyn on the corner of Bedford and Manhattan. The traditional Jewish deli sports a classic lay out. Take a number at the door and order when it is called. The menu ranges from traditional meat and breakfast sandwiches, smoked fish, matzo ball soup, latkes and dollar bagels. Great coffee and kosher groceries as well! My favorite was the brisket sandwich (their Grandmother’s famous recipe). It was fantastic! #sinkanefoods
