With Reebok and Brighter Sounds recently partnering to hold a hip-hop workshop in Manchester, it seemed like fate that Kendrick Lamar was in the country at the same time. Since he’s collaborated with Reebok in the past (RED BLUE) and is currently partnered with the shoe company, he ended up making a surprise appearance at the event.
Entering the space to such a warm welcome and good vibe, Kendrick couldn’t resist stepping up to the mic to spit a few freestyles and joining in with the live musicians and amateur rappers. In a courageous move fans then decided to go head to head against the hip-hop legend, engaging in friendly battles where both parties brought some serious heat. The best thing about this is that everyone is just vibing, including Kendrick who bounces off the new talent from across the water throughout.
Kendrick then ends on a high saying, “I’m out here, yall keep rocking out, doing your shit…keep doing your dreams and live it out.”
