FKA twigs has joined Kendrick Lamar, Fetty Wap, Joey Bada$$ and Justin Bieber for Calvin Klein’s SS16 Campaign, releasing an advertisement that doubles as her new self-directed music video for Good To Love. The video stars twigs herself, social media star and dancer Kaner Flex and many, many pairs of Calvin Klein jeans.
The video, which is mostly in black and white with a soft touch of dark blue, consists of slow choreography between twigs and Flex. Throughout the routine, they continue to undress (showing off their Calvin Klein underwear), holding each other close. The intimate choreography goes well with the slow, beautiful tune of the song. twigs’ angelic voice is the perfect base, going hand-in-hand with the themes of the video and heightening the sensual atmosphere. At the end of the video, twigs runs away, falling through a door into a huge pile of jeans. With twigs lying on top of the pile, the words “I create in #mycalvins” flash onto the screen.
The best part about the video is that it’s so well put together that it makes you forget that they’re selling you something. The graceful couple have amazing chemistry that it makes the whole thing so mesmerising; more mesmerising than her gorgeous performance of the song on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
At the beginning of the year Calvin Klein released ads with a similar tagline featuring Lamar, Wap and Bada$$, which can be seen below via their Twitter account.

Don’t be fooled by the amount of logos placed around twigs’ video. It’s more than an ad; it’s a piece of art.
