What a year we’re already having for hip-hop! Fresh off the bat of being announced for regional touring festival Groovin The Moo, Chicago-bred rapper Vic Mensa has just announced a string of headline shows around the country.
At the ripe young age of 22, Mensa has already built himself an immense cult following, no doubt boosted last year by his ripper collaboration with Kanye West and Sia, Wolves, alongside performances at Coachella and other huge festivals. Now signed to Roc Nation, we have no doubt that 2016 will be his biggest year yet.
Mensa last visited Australia to perform at St Jerome’s Laneway festival last year. As well as Groovin The Moo, he’ll be playing headline sets in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday February 9 at 11am – visit the official Live Nation website for more. Telstra Thanks is holding a 48 hour pre-sale in advance, from this Friday February 5 at 9 am – head to the website for tickets and more details.
