Kanye West has once again taken to Twitter, with a link to a cryptic trailer, teasing the Yeezy Season 3 collection and new album.
Posted on the Yeezy.Supply website, the short clip features a young brunette saying, “the trap life chose me,” while showing off her clunky ankle monitor as two men off screen voice their disbelief. The lo-fi video also comes with a counter which is steadily going upwards while a set time is displayed underneath, presumably the time to which the top counter is counting towards and the set one is indicating are the launch date of Yeezy Season 3.
The fashion show, taking place at Madison Square Garden in NYC, will be doubling up as the world premiere for Kanye West’s upcoming album. It will be broadcast worldwide and into numerous movie theatres around the globe, including in Sydney and Melbourne.
While Tweeting links to the website which had the cryptic trailer for Yeezy Season 3, Kanye West also managed to tease everyone with a tweet which seemed to indicate that his much anticipated upcoming album may possibly, maybe, potentially be going through yet another change of name.
There may be a new secret album title

While it might be true that there is no such thing as bad publicity, it feels at this point like Kanye West is just fucking with us. Maybe the upcoming album will in fact be called So Help Me God and this whole name changing saga was just an elaborate marketing strategy, most likely thought up by the same people that decided the ankle monitor teaser trailer was a very clever idea. Either way, it’s Kanye – we didn’t expect less, nor more.
I do feel like I’m in the definite minority of people that are losing interest with the perpetually changing title of the upcoming album, since Kanye West’s tweet announcing the possibility of the album going through its fourth title was re-tweeted hard and fast.

Regardless of which name he eventually settles on for the album, it will undoubtedly be a solid release. With a number of heavyweight collaboratprs, and the well-received singles Kanye has been dropping online, his seventh studio album might not be the greatest of all time, but it will definitely be a hit.
The fashion show/album launch, Yeezy Season 3 will be commencing on Thursday, February 11, at Madison Square Gardens in New York City.
