It’s a great time to be a hip-hop fan for the foreseeable future. Not only are we promised new weekly music from Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Fridays, but now A$AP Rocky has revealed his Wavy Wednesdays, where he and the A$AP Mob will release new music every Wednesday.
The news came about during a Twitter Q&A that was done in promotion of the Grammy Awards, where one fan asked Rocky, “When will we have new music?” Flacko’s response was: “WE PUTTING OUT NEW MUSIC EVERY WEDNESDAYS….WAVY WEDNESDAYS.”

He didn’t give an indication as to when Wavy Wednesdays will start, but last Wednesday he shared new music from recent A$AP Mob signee, Playboi Carti, as well as the visuals for A$AP Twelvyy‘s new single, L.Y.B.B.. Both were released via Twitter, and both contained the phrase ‘Wavy Wednesdays’ – so we might already be in week two?
The Grammy Awards were held today, and although Rocky didn’t take home the Best Music Video award for L$D, he was seen accompanied on the red carpet by A$AP Yams’ mother, Tatianna Paulino. A$AP Rocky begins his Australian tour tomorrow in Melbourne, and fans might be lucky enough to be treated to new music in a live version of Wavy Wednesdays during his concert – this fan has his fingers crossed as I will be at tomorrow’s show.
