Beloved indie weirdos Modest Mouse have announced two special sideshows to accompany their appearance at this year’s Bluesfest.
Modest Mouse were the biggest drawcard of Bluesfest’s fourth lineup announcement, which also announced Kamasi Washington, Richard Clapton and more as new additions to the immense bill. They last visited Australia to perform at Splendour in the Grass 2011.
Last year, Modest Mouse released Strangers To Ourselves. Their first album in a whopping eight years, it’s highly likely that fans won’t get another chance to catch the six-piece in the flesh for a long while.
The band have only announced shows in Melbourne and Sydney, so fans from around the country should probably get their travel plans sorted out soon!
Frontier Touring is holding a members pre-sale between Wed Jan 20 – Thurs Jan 21, while general public tickets will be available from midday local time on Friday Jan 22.
