Lupe Fiasco to Release THREE New Albums in 2016

It’s safe to say that Lupe Fiasco has well and truly made his comeback. His 2015 album Tetsuo & Youth was one of our favourite records of 2015, and it looks like there’s absolutely no signs of slowing down.

The rapper recently announced that he will be releasing The Cool 2 way down in 2017, marking the tenth anniversary of his 2007 album The Cool. We can only assume it’ll be released around the date of the original’s tenth anniversary, which is December 18. Check out the announcement and cover art here. Interestingly, this will be Lupe Fiasco’s second “sequel” album. His first was the 2012 release Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt 1, which follows on from his groundbreaking 2006 debut, Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor.

It doesn’t stop there, though. Fans, get ready for an onslaught of brand new Lupe, for he has taken to Twitter to announce that he will also be releasing THREE brand new albums will be coming out next year.
