Sydney’s worst kept secret, Secret Garden Festival, has become one of the most exciting mid-scale events on the festival calendar. Now in its eighth year, it’s a much-loved annual event – so we’re really excited to share the news that the event is not only back for another year, but it’s bigger than ever before!
The festival is set to take place right at the end of the sunny season, over one glorious weekend from Feb 26 – 27. That’s right – two WHOLE days, as opposed to the usual single day event. But don’t worry – while the festival is lengthening, the capacity will remain the same – and everyone who has ever been, knows that the small scale of the event is part of what makes it such a gem.
Known as a fun, creative festival where you can wear fancy dress, douse yourself in glitter and enjoy a beverage or three while the stellar musical acts serenade you, it gets better every year – and 2016 will be no different.
Tickets will be going on sale on Wed November 11 at 9 am, so mark it down in your calendars and save this link!
The festival is not only unique in its atmosphere, but it’s heartwarming charity work. The proceeds from both bar and ticket sales go straight to charity – the festival have already donated more than $200 000 to Oxfam, The Boys & Girls Brigade, and the Sarah Hilt Foundation.
