Adelaide duo Auguste may be new on the scene, but since the release of their debut track Slow Motion just 12 days ago, it’s received a casual 55.8K plays on SoundCloud – a number which continues to rise. It doesn’t take a genius to know why; the song is great with it’s piercing vocals, dreamy synth pop qualities and twinkling production courtesy of Andy Bull. Just a few seconds in, and you’ll be hooked like the rest of us.
To get to know the girls (who are actually step-sisters) a little but more, we asked them the hard questions like what their favourite song to sing in the shower is, or what their go-to drunken karaoke track is, and because two is always better than one, both girls answered individually. Two playlists full of jams for every occasion: this is Auguste!
