Kendrick Lamar makes dreams come true, invites fan to duet ‘m.A.A.d. City’ onstage

You always get the feeling that Compton’s favourite son Kendrick Lamar is a stand-up dude both on and off the stage. At a packed-out show on behalf of a radio station last night in Columbus, Ohio he again solidified his reputation as the former. Just as Kendrick was about to rain fire down upon the raucous Columbus audience with m.A.A.d. City, he thought twice and proceeded to invite a young member of the audience up onstage with him to give him a hand with the song.

After re-christening the probably-pissing-himself young fan with the MC name of ‘Trick Or Treat’, the two proceeded to launch into a duet that went something like this:

There’s ‘killing it’ and then there’s this guy, who absolutely tore that stage a new one as though he was born on it. It’s not the first time Kendrick Lamar has brought fans onstage to perform with him by any means, but as far as the quality of the performance goes, this one is sitting right up there.

He also later invited another disgustingly lucky fan up later in the set, this time to freestyle his own verse:

We can only hope that he’s feeling in as generous a mood when he arrives in Australia in early 2016 for a three-date tour.
