FBi Radio hosted The Presets, Hermitude, Seekae and many other huge Aussie names at their tenth birthday party back in September 2013. We haven’t stopped talking about that day – without doubt, it was one of the greatest events in Sydney’s recent musical memory. Now, FBi have decided to spoil us again by throwing another party at Sydney’s Carriageworks.
With the sounds of Cosmo’s Midnight, Vallis Alps, Dro Carey and Fishing resonating through the warehouses of Eveleigh, FBi SMACs Festival is no doubt an event to make room for in the diary. With the aim of “uncovering Sydney’s finest, first” the festival will feature loads of local musicians, some of which have been nominated for FBi’s SMAC awards in the past. To seal the deal, FBi will be showcasing the works of local artists, treating us to the delectable offerings of Italian BBQ cuisine and opening a mini-putt putt course. That’s right, you will able to munch on some tasty strips of pancetta, have a swing at the mini-golf course and vibe to Australia’s up and comers all at once.
FBi SMACs Festival runs from 12pm-10pm on Sunday 10th of January 2016. Grab your tickets from Sydney Festival or Ticketmaster for $49 + BF (or $39 + BF for FBi supporters). More details here!
