Tei Shi Re-Releases ‘Go Slow’ with Rome Fortune

It’s been a big 12 months for Tei Shi. From touring the globe, playing at SXSW, releasing one of the best EPs of the year and much, much more, she continues to outdo herself with every thing she does. Now, hot on the heels of her latest clip for her track See Me, real name Valerie Teicher has teamed up with none other than Rome Fortune in an exciting new re-release of her track, Go Slow.

Fortune’s rhymes are perfectly suited for the skittering and bouncy beats and Tei Shi’s smoky voice. Showing off his versatility and token style, Fortune is relaxed but delivers with precision. It’s the best of both worlds with two of this year’s most exciting breakout artists.

Just last month, ahead of going on tour with Years & Years across the US, Teicher released one of the best clips of the year for her song See Me. Teaming up with DREAMTIGER and Jonathan Wing, she said of the clip, “We spent some days exploring Bogota, the city where I spent most of my childhood and where my mother’s side of the family has lived for generations…along the way we found some breathtaking and really unusual settings, which gave the song a totally new life. I wanted to be able to share this part of my identity through my music somehow, so here it is, in me re-discovering a lot of what defines me and my history through the music that has defined me for the past year. Hope you enjoy it.”
