Little May: My Favourite Tunes

Sydney’s Little May are getting set to take the world by storm. We caught them last week in Sydney, where they kicked off a small four-date local tour, a warm-up to the folk act’s mammoth 25-date tour across the USA and Europe, before returning to bring in the new year at Falls Festival and Southbound Festival.

They’re also gearing up to the drop their album at the start of next month, because you know, touring isn’t time consuming enough. For The Company is their highly anticipated, long awaited debut, which you can pre-order here. It officially comes out on October 9 2015.

But it doesn’t stop there. Little May also just announced their involvement in #ArtForTheCompany, a curated series of music-inspired art, going down at a Sydney-based exhibition – more details here.

All this means there’s a lot of damn exciting stuff in the future of Little May. So we wanted to take a moment to step back and delve into their past, their influences, and some of their favourite music. The eclectic and emotional result was wonderful. Enjoy!
