The Brian Jonestown Massacre and their Silver Jubilee tour have today added to the jubilation, by announcing even more more stops along their psychedelic schedule.
Arousing excitement with their first announcement, the band has now ostensibly completed the tour schedule by adding a second and final Sydney show at the Factory Theatre. Doubling down on the excitement the BJM has also decided to kick off their tour in Byron bay at The Northern Hotel rather than starting as they initially planned in Brisbane at The Triffid.
As previously announced the band intends to play a collection of new and old songs, including some that have never before been performed live. One can only wonder what enigmatic frontman Anton Newcombe has planned for the auspicious tour celebrating the bands 25th anniversary.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre has undergone several transformations since their humble formation in San Francisco in 1990, but one thing is for certain, they are as musically pioneering as ever and their shows promise to be an unforgettable experience.
