Aussie band The Waifs have announced that they are adding East Coast shows to the Beautiful You tour. Having announced tour dates in Western Australia last month, they’ve now revealed the shows for the rest of the country.
The band have toured extensively in their stellar 20 year career. Now, they’ve returned to the forefront of the music scene with latest LP Beautiful You, which will be integrated into their revered live shows
Victorian singer songwriter Sal Kimber will open shows in WA, and long time friend and guitar player Mia Dyson will join the band for the Eastern States shows.
First single off the LP, 6000 Miles, has Waifs vocalist Vikki Thorn contemplating the enormous distance between her home in Albany, Western Australia, and her new one in Utah. The song is a nostalgic collection of anthemic gentle guitar strums and country-style twangs peppering it intermittently.
