Sydney’s very own RÜFÜS has announced a massive tour that is making its way around Australia and even dipping into America later this year. It comes in support of their latest single You Were Right, and in preparation of their upcoming second album.
With a flawless electronic sound already mastered, and a killer first album that sprinted to the top of our charts down under, it’s little wonder the hype for their second album is gaining momentum. This is spurred by their first single You Were Right, of which a music video has just been released. The clip is beautifully shot – with a crisp and vibrant edge featuring people floating blissfully and elegantly in slow motion.
“We worked with long time collaborator Katzki, who also happens to be my brother and has done every one of our videos,” said Jon George, the keys player of the group. “The video is about a feeling. It’s the anticipation of a single moment and waiting for that moment of euphoria.”
