Green Buzzard, to use the obvious wordplay, are the buzzband of the moment. Signed to I OH YOU (DZ Deathrays, DMAs) the Sydney band have erupted into the live music scene, and have started wowing audiences with some pretty top notch gigs, including opening slots for Splendour in the Grass bands like The Vaccines.
They’re set to play at upcoming Sydney festival Small World Festival, alongside DZ Deathrays, Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders and more. We wanted to get to know a little more about the guys, so we asked them to share some of their favourite tunes with us. Enjoy!

5. My favourite love song is… Sam Cooke – You Send Me
Even though he died getting shot trying to attack a women at a motel wearing nothing but a sports coat and a shoe, he’ll still be that 60’s soulful heart throb we all know and love. Bless.

8. The best track to wind down a crowd is… Anything by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Not sure if it will wind down a crowd but it will definitely clear it.
