Fairgrounds Festival has announced its lineup and it’s pretty awesome to be honest. Including the likes of Brooklyn-based rocktronica duo Ratatat, American/New Zealand rock band Unknown Mortal Orchestra and American folk singer Father John Misty, a.k.a Joshua Tillman, the festival will be hosted in the picturesque township of Berry on the South Coast of NSW, Saturday 5 December.
Home to some of the region’s best food, wine and premium beer, the festival has something to offer everyone. The event is kid friendly (free entry for kids under 12) and will also feature field games and a secured children’s area while parents You can play a selection of games on the green The festival includes its own artisanal good market. You can even browse the independent label market section and search their back catalogue of records.
The family-friendly event is encouraging those making the trip to Berry to make a weekend out of it, with a ‘Cinema Under The Stars’ film, presented by Madman, scheduled to take place the night before the festival starts underneath the stars. The following Sunday, revellers can make there way to Berry Markets to choose from a wide range of fresh produce, enjoy the an animal farm as well as perusing 200 stalls.
On-site camping is available as well for festival-goers.
