OutsideIn Festival is BACK for 2015!

For the uninitiated, OutsideIn Festival is a Sydney festival which has been running since 2012. Impeccable artist curation leads to the kind of event where, it doesn’t even matter if you know the acts playing or not – you can guarantee they’re going to be great. Boasting a lineup that’s a pretty strict blend of electronic and hip hop, headliners have included HTRK, Flume (before he was the mythical lord of Australian electro,) The Pharcyde, Pantha Du Prince (read my interview here), Freddie Gibbs, Badbadnotgood, Knxwledge (who just dropped an incredible album on Stones Throw, by the way) and more.

The first two events were held at The Factory in Marrickville, before moving to Manning House within the University of Sydney. It’s now been announced that the event will take place at Manning House again this year.

As well as the venue, we now have a confirmed date! OutsideIn will be taking place on September 26 2015.

No word on the lineup just yet, but keep an eye out over the next few weeks!

In the meantime, check out this video from last year’s festival, capturing the feel-good vibes of a wonderful day.

I can’t go on about this festival enough. If you want to know why, read my review of last year’s event, which gives you four bangin’ reasons why OutsideIn is Sydney’s best festival.
