NSFW: Miguel releases video for “Coffee” and three new songs

It’s been a busy 24 hours or so for Miguel, that’s for sure. Not only has he dropped the video for his typically sensual single Coffeebut he’s also put out three previously unheard tracks. With the release date for Miguel’s highly anticipated third album a mere ten days away, it came as somewhat of a (pleasant) surprise when the R&B crooner put the songs out overnight.

Though they have since been removed from the musician’s SoundCloud page (like the rest of his content was earlier in the year), you can still listen to the dreamy, falsetto-driven FLESH, the guitar-driven …goingothell and the Lenny Kravitz featuring ballad-esque face the sun on YouTube. You can also get the new tracks on iTunes along with Coffee and a further two songs (NWA and Hollywood Dreams) if you can’t wait for June 30 to roll around. Honestly, Soulfest cannot come fast enough. If previous live performances and these new songs are anything to go by, Miguel’s set is going to be a sure-fire festival highlight.

If waiting is your game plan, then maybe the video for Coffee can tide you over for the next week and a half. It’s the Wale-less (aka: better) version of the song and all dim lit bedroom sequences, billowing white sheets and car park fumbles. In other words: it’s just short of being an actual sex tape – which comes as very little surprise. The NSFW tag is not to be taken lightly. You have all been warned.
