Ghostface Killah searches for new beats on Twitter

Calling all aspiring producers and beat-makers, now is your chance to shine. If you’re like me, you’ve probably dedicated more time than you would like to admit sitting on GarageBand hoping to become to next Flume or Hudson Mohawke, tinkering and mixing to your hearts content. Well, if unlike myself, you actually possess some musical talent, you may just be in luck. Ghostface Killah, part of the esteemed and legendary rap group Wu-Tang Clanhas taken to social media, namely Twitter, in an attempt to find some “fire beats.”

Whetting the appetite of new and old Wu fans alike, the esteemed rapper is scouring the net for hidden gems to be featured on an upcoming Wu project, as well as a follow up to the Ghostface Killah 2000 solo release of Supreme Clientele.

It is rather refreshing to see such a personal approach to production, with the chance for talented fans to make their mark and gain some invaluable exposure, all while providing beats that complement the flow of legendary spitters such as Raekwon, RZA and Method Man. I think it is a fair assumption to state that the stamp of approval from the Wu Tang Clan is rewarding enough. After all, this is the group that blessed us with iconic hip hop anthems such as C.R.E.A.M and Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta Fuck Wit.
