Check out Miguel’s raunchy new track, “Coffee (Fucking)”

One of the sweetest voices in R&B today, Miguel has made it onto the Howl & Echoes page despite his chart-topping celeb status because, well, I like him. Sue me.

Late last year, Miguel surprised his fans with a brand new three-track EP, breaking months and months of radio silence. One of the tracks, Coffee, has now received an R-rated makeover. Coffee (Fucking) features rapper Wale, who adds a whole new element to the velvety smooth bedroom track. He makes no secret of the sexual reference in the song’s title, proclaiming, “I’m sorry baby, I ain’t mean to wake ya/ I can put you back to sleep if that’s some consolation/ And I’m tired of waitin’, so no more disappointment /I’m not your regular Joe, I be your coffee in the morning.”

We can only assume that the track will feature on Miguel’s forthcoming album Wild Heart. Although no release date has yet bene announced, the singer has reportedly stated that it’s more than 90% done. It’ll be his first album since 2012’s Kaleidsocope Dream.
